HDMI diff pairs mismatch

#1 Post by Engrailment » 23 Jan 2026, 08:06

Hello. I have a bunch of HDMI diff pairs that I need to match. Each of the pairs has a diode array across them. I want to match from the connector to an inline resistor on each pair, which I've added all the nets to a net class.

The problem is, it's arbitrarily assigning the pad to pad that it is measuring. For all but 1 net (so half of one pair) it picked the connector pin and the diode, which is REALLY close. For the one net, it picked a resistor and the connector.

How can I select which pad pairs for these differential signals it is showing me the length match for?

Thanks!
.

Right-click the trace and select “Length Matching → Open Length Matching” from the context menu.
Then, in the dialog that opens, find the “Net/Pads” field, locate the required trace in the list, and click the “…” button.
A dialog will open where you can select the start and end points between which the measurement will be performed.

Length Matching → Open Length Matching ........ yes, it is a "fix". Maybe even better if a D-T Default ? Thoughts ?
