Missing Components libraries

#1 Post by calrs » 13 Feb 2019, 09:34

I am new to DipTrace and after installing the free version, I am trying to follow the tutorial videos. On the first launch of schematics, everything is fine. The second time I launch the program, I am missing a lot of libraries (ex.: Microchips). I uninstalled DipTrace and reinstalled it. Again on the first launch everything is normal but after that, the components libraries have missing ones.

I use Windows 10 and DipTrace 3.3.1.1

Found the answer. We have to start DipTrace as administrator.

You can use the Windows Installer to detect missing components or files, and then reinstall features that contain the missing components. Because the Installer installs features and not components, it must first resolve to which component a missing file belongs.
