In the current DipTrace software, what happens if a user with a lower-tier license attempts to open a schematic (or board) created in a higher-licensed version of DipTrace, which has more pins in the schematic than their current license version allows?
Does it open the file and let the user view it, but prohibit the addition of new parts? ...Or does it refuse to open the file?
For example, say a schematic is created in software with the "Standard" license, and that schematic file has 650 pins used. If a different user with the "Lite" license (max 500 pins) attempts to open this file, what would happen?
For general questions regarding the software and for all questions that do not fit in any of the threads above.
