ODB+ Bug

Hi,

I think there's a bug in ODB+ export.

I've attached the PCB file created in Diptrace Layout 4.0.3.2. This is a simple file that isolates the problem. The file is a shield placement. The shield is tied to the ground fill. The shield footprint came from a DXF import in the pattern editor.

Image1 shows the mask settings required to get the mask under the shield to be correctly removed.

Image2 shows the exported gerber as displayed by GerberLogix. This is correct to me.

Image3 shows the exported gerber as displayed by the Siemens ODB viewer (version 11.5). This does remove the mask under the shield edges. It removes the mask under the entire shield. This seems like a bug.

Can someone from Diptrace verify?

Hi Diptrace folks, can you reproduce this? Is there a way to make ODB the same as Gerber? Thanks!

We have found the bug and fixed it in source codes. The fix will be included in the next version.
