I'm thinking that it might be useful to add one more option to the copper pour via stitching menu that would limit via stitching to only its perimeter. Does anyone else here think this option is needed, or am I mistaken?
For those who may need it, one current workaround that comes to mind would be to disable Real-time DRC, place a temporary Route Keepout (filled figure), stitch, remove the temporary Route Keepout and then re-enable Real-time DRC. However, this method might become more difficult when working with complex board outlines. Having a perimeter stitch option available could ease such a workload.
Here's an example of what it might look like if implemented...
p.s. Keep in mind that this is merely an unofficial suggestion.

I like that option also... That's a good idea.

We thank all participants of the discussion for their active involvement. This option has been developed and added in version 5.2

Re: copper pour perimeter stitching
Having an option to perform via stitching only along the perimeter of a copper pour would be really useful in many practical situations. For example, when you just want to reinforce the GND edge to reduce EMI or create a “shield ring” without filling the entire zone densely with vias.
