Hello DipTrace Community,

is it possible to use the file path unification features for datasheets?

I tried adding a user variable like this: and then using the variable in the part's datasheet field in the
component library like this: but this does not seem to work. Is this even possible or
am I missing something?

It seems not possible. We will consider using environment variables in the datasheet path. Thank you.

Alex- pls think twice. not needed;
likely a absolutely unmanageable data base of old/not current layers of no confirmed accuracy.
the engineering person is responsible and best knowledgeable ( should be ) of current component status.

Thank you for your consideration. For me, this would be a useful function and would also round off your concept of the environment variables in DipTrace.
