Diptrace PCB Layout question

#1 Post by mitchellmohr » 21 Mar 2025, 03:46

Hi,
While I was working on my traces, I kept throwing traces to the bottom. Now I noticed that the bottom traces are overlapped/intersected, does it mean I'm shorting them or what?

If intersected traces are on the same layer they are shorted. You can run "Verification -> Check Net Connectivity" to find short circuits and broken connections.

When working with DipTrace for PCB design, selecting the right components is crucial for performance and reliability. Incorporating Discrete Semiconductors like diodes and transistors can optimize power regulation and signal integrity. Have you considered how component choice impacts your circuit’s efficiency and stability?
