We really need:
1. The ability to add Mouse bits on both sides of edge tabs. For typical hand nibblers it shortens the life cutting the non mouse bit side.
2. The ability to fill areas or follow the PCB outline instead of extra long tabs where edge isn't in line.
3. Panel rotation so L shape PCB's can be nested.
I know that #3 isn't trivial but it would be nice.
Panelization options
Re: Panelization options
#4. Add the ability to do interrupted vscore.
Re: Panelization options
Do you know a board shop that can/will actually do this?
The setup for V-score is that the blade rolls along before the panel edge begins & ends after the panel edge finishes ie it is a continuous score across the entire surface.
I've never seen an automatic V-scorer, usually it is set up manually by hand.

Re: Panelization options
Interesting. Generally, if the panels are going to be heavy (ie with large relays etc), the size of the panel would be reduced to help prevent any significant sagging when installed in the frames of the wave solderer. The depth of the V-groove can also be stipulated to stiffen up the panel if required.friesen wrote: 23 Jul 2025, 21:06 I haven't asked yet. This place mentions it.

If you choose jump skip V-grooving, please let us know how it goes.
