We are excited to announce DipTrace 5.2, the latest update to our PCB design software, packed with new features and enhancements that make schematic and layout design more intuitive, efficient, and powerful.
What’s new in DipTrace 5.2:
- New Walk Around Router and combined Walk Around + Push modes for maximum flexibility in interactive routing.
- Automatic connection of intermediate pads when completing a trace — less manual fixing, more productivity.
- Improved Find in Layout/Schematic: instantly select results on the canvas, edit object properties directly from the list, and use multi-selection.
- “Perimeter Only” option for via stitching for better control of copper areas.
- EasyEDA Pro and Pulsonix import: bring in schematics, layouts, and libraries with ease.
- CSV/TXT pin list import to quickly define parts and pin data from external sources.
- Shorter component designators when converting hierarchical schematics to PCB (e.g., 1R1, 2R1, …).
- Smarter net-port handling: copy marking settings from existing ports and auto-assign bus net names with incremented/decremented indices.
- Custom net colors: highlight nets and their connected shapes with your own color scheme.
