DipTrace 5.0 Beta: Elevating PCB design with Advanced Features
We are thrilled to introduce the beta release of DipTrace 5.0, an important leap in PCB design capabilities. This update introduces a host of highly anticipated and powerful features and tools.
In the Schematic Capture module, you will find a Digital SPICE Simulator that provides accurate simulation of digital circuits for enhanced design validation.
PCB Layout gets the PCB Calculator that empowers your design with advanced PCB calculations, covering trace width, clearance, current, resistance, transmission line characteristics, differential pairs impedance and more. Besides, width, length, gap, and layer stackup can be customized manually or based on selected trace, differential pair and layer stackup settings. Also, now you can easily adjust parameters and place planar inductors directly onto your layout or save them to the library for future use.
Via Stitching for copper pours, polygons, and the entire board, ensures an optimized and reliable layout. Trace shielding is now possible with dedicated Via Shielding capabilities, offering improved signal integrity.
DipTrace 5.0 introduces an extensive Plugin support, accompanied by comprehensive documentation and ready-to-use plugin examples with source codes. Users can now extend the software functionality by making extensions with any desired programming environment.
Cross Selection and Highlight feature enables seamless navigation between PCB and Schematic, enhancing design coherence. Thanks to the Place Selected by List option you can effortlessly place blocks selected in the Schematic on your board.
Netlist-based PCB Update allows renewing your PCB design from the netlist of any third-party software, streamlining collaboration.
Export to PDF option will simplify your documentation process by directly exporting Schematic and PCB designs to PDF format.
