What is included?

The academic license covers the complete DipTrace package — all modules, all features, all libraries.
There are no functional differences from the commercial version.

1. Can I use DipTrace for my thesis or capstone project?

Yes. Enrolled students can use a free DipTrace Academic License for thesis, diploma, capstone, coursework, and other academic projects completed as part of their studies.

2. What happens to my license after I graduate?

The license is valid while you hold academic status. After graduation you can upgrade to a commercial license — the software and all your project files remain fully compatible.

3. We need licenses for a department laboratory. How does that work?

Submit a single institutional request and describe the number of seats needed. We will handle the deployment together. There is no fixed upper limit on seats.

4. How long does approval take?

Typically 1–3 business days. If we need any clarification, we will reach out by email.

5. Is the academic version different from the commercial one?

Functionally — no. You get the complete DipTrace package. The only difference is the usage condition: non-commercial educational and research purposes only.
